Prohibida is only the 2nd ever rum expression we've released to market since we began laying rum down nearly 10 years ago. Created like all our rums, from 100% domestic molasses, but with the addition of aged dunder, Prohibida was double pot distilled then aged in entirely used cooperage, before being finished in our own ex-peated Balcones single malt casks. Matured for 33 months and bottled at 50% ABV.

On the nose, subtle golden notes of tapioca pudding, lemon meringues, and bruised honeysuckle intricately intertwined with faint smoky notes of distant bonfire, smoked pear, & palo santo.

The palate is playful and calm, with spritely notes of tepache, ground coriander, & grated nutmeg easing into sweet fire-roasted melon & mango custard, before long notes of ginger lemon gumdrops lace into a relaxing finish of maduro cigar smoke, clove cigarettes, & jasmine glaze.

Prohibida is subtle, yet quietly dynamic, even-tempered but playful; easily sipped from a Glencairn over a long evening with a mellow cigar, but with enough character to stand out in a Painkiller or floated on a frozen colada.

SHIPPING

Someone 21 years of age or older must be available to sign for any alcohol orders.

We cannot ship to a PO Box, including military bases, FedEx, UPS or Walgreens as they will not accept other local carriers' packages.

Orders are generally delivered within 3-15 business days from purchase.

Shipments destined for Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina may encounter a slight extension in delivery time, resulting in an additional delay of 2-5 business days.

Tracking information will be sent to customers once fulfillment is completed, typically within 5 business days unless one of the below conditions apply.

If your purchase includes any presale/preorder items, the order will be fulfilled once these items are available — please expect a delay. Fulfillment times will also vary if an item is backordered and will ship based on item availability.

All sales are final - No returns or exchanges. Shipping carriers will make up to three (3) delivery attempts. If you cannot accept delivery during these attempts, the product will be returned to us. If you would like us to reship your order, an additional $40 fee will be applied.
